was not using this in a microwave first of all, was using this as a replacement relay switch activator on a 12v 0.1A relay switch for a failed digital timer.My relay activated as soon as i connected this without winding. Upon inspection, i found one of the prong connectors was pushed in slightly and was completing the circuit without the timer needing to be wound.while attempting to remove my wire from prong connector, the plastic housing around the connector snapped, destructively detaching the prong connector from the timer, making this a $10 piece of scrap.
