I have used this steam sauna once a week for the last 4 months. I am 5'3", and bought a 12" high bamboo stool and it is perfect for my height.Assembly was easy but a little frustrating as one or the other side kept popping open. The gate mechanism doesn't close properly so I use the steamer with the gate mechanism open all the time. The steamer takes 15 min to start up, and I get in and zip up the flaps. In another few minutes, it achieves great warmth. The steam is not evenly distributed and I have to sit in awkward positions inside to maximise the heat. For example, I have to keep my hands up to chest level and take my legs to the sides of my stool to get warm all over. Also, the neck hole is placed too close to the Y splitter, there is a chance you can get mild burns sometimes. I now sit a little forward and lean back to avoid it. Since I just steam for 15 minutes, this pose is not too bad.Apart from the awkward positions, this steamer works great and reaches the wet heat in the therapy massage parlors. It really helped me get thru the cold and rainy winter in Seattle this time.A few tips:1. Place your stool lengthwise so you can slide back and forth away from the Y splitter in case you start getting too hot. I also place a bath towel on the floor to warm my feet and absorb the condensation.2. Yes, I have gotten burned, it was not fun. Make sure the Y splitter is completely horizontal so you don't get burned. I pull it out by an inch or so to protect my back from burns. Also, get in carefully and zip up carefully so the apparatus does not move, which can cause the Y splitter to move.3. Do not open the cooker thingy for at least 4-5 hours after. I got scalded by extreme heat when I opened it a couple of hours later to empty it.4. I use an aromatherapy diffuser in the room and decided not to put any oils into the cooker as I didn't want it to get clogged and smell funky over time.
